(Emmit) Lee Twine Jr., born in Brooklyn, New York started playing guitar at the age of ten. Lee studied music at Kingsborough Community College, Jazz Mobile, Henry Street Settlement, and The Brooklyn Conservatory.

Lee plays guitar, bass, drums and cuatro guitar.

Lee Twine Jr. performs with the group Brass Construction.  Lee has performed at various jazz music festivals, in the United States and Abroad.

Lee Twine Jr. has opened for various groups including Rose Royce. He’s performed alongside acts such as George Clinton-P. Funk Allstars, Lakeside, Midnight Star, Blue Magic, Intruders, Howard Hewitt, Dennis Edwards, Chuck Brown, Clarence Carter, Crown Heights Affair, Fatback Band, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes as well as countless other groups on tour.
